After seeing photos online depicting these two parks, I eagerly drove over, excited to see a hidden getaway. Parking is in a lot behind the Cadillac factory and the gate enclosing the park was terribly overgrown with foliage and not tended to. I was sad to see the sign was faded and showing extreme wear but I always imagine that inside, something grand will be "hiding". Upon entering the gate there was a building that was again, in need of care and the area was not visually appealing at all. There were two choices; left or right so we went to the right, assuming we would exit from the left side (we were correct in that). We entered a pathway and I love photographing different textures in nature combined with man-made items so the pictures I took, focused on the beauty I saw through my lens. However, if you looked at the big picture around you, it was obvious this charming area was greatly neglected overall and signs stating that it is maintained only by volunteers helped me understand why so much of the area needed some TLC. I'm not sure why the Lansing Parks and Rec area doesn't care for this like it does its other parks? It really could be an incredible area. While it wasn't over

Beautiful spot you reserve. Only negative is other wedding parties not asking and just walking in and taking photos during our reserved times. Asking us to move things so not to be in their photos. Please respect those that actually paid to use the space.

A really beautiful city park. Wonderful for strolling. During flower season. It's well planted. Very well maintained.

The garden is pretty and well maintained. It's a quick visit. They have interesting types of flora and it's great for pictures πŸ“Έ Would recommend adding small picnic tables.

If I could give 3 1/2 stars, that's what I would mark this city garden. It is maintained by Master Gardener volunteers who do what they can. It has a somewhat overgrown look in many places. Some areas are delightful.
